Send us the manuscript. We run an exact source word count, read for genre, register and technical difficulty, and confirm which rate tier your target language falls into. Nothing is charged at this stage.
You receive a fixed translation quote based on your exact word count and language, plus a separate formatting quote based on page count. You can accept one, both, or neither. There is no obligation and no charge for the quote.
Before any commitment, we translate up to 500 words of your choosing so you can judge the voice for yourself — ideally a passage with dialogue, humour or something you were worried about. If you are not happy, we will try a different translator or you walk away.
We assign a native-speaking translator who reads in your genre and has translated comparable titles. An NDA is signed before the full manuscript is shared. You are told who is working on your book.
Long manuscripts are delivered in batches so you see progress instead of waiting in silence. A running glossary keeps character names, invented terms and recurring phrases identical from first page to last.
A second native speaker who did not do the translation proofreads the full manuscript against the source for accuracy, fluency, consistency and typos. This is included in your per-word rate, not billed on top.
